Meghan O'Connor

Ello :] My name is Meghan O'Connor, I'm a Senior at Edsel Ford High School, and I come here to the Michael Berry center for the second half of the day. Here, i take GIS (Geographical Information Systems) with Mr. Bayerl, and I am also am taking a World Civ class with Ms. Lark. I am in my second year of GIS, and i plan on taking it for the rest of the year. In my spare time I like to run, play basketball, bowl, color :]. Music has always been a big part of my life. I am in the school band, and i play the flute. I also used to play piano and trumpet. My friend is currently teaching me how to play the guitar, although i haven't really gone too fat with that, but i would like to. After high school I plan on attending HFCC to pursue a career with computers. After Henry Ford, I am undecided on where i want to go/try to get into.

In December of 2006, me and a few of my friends worked in a program called Soul. This program found families who were willing to "apopt" a less fortunate family for the Christmas day. The families bought and or donated gifts to them. The gifts were sent to us, and we wrapped them. We also made brochures (that had the families names, ages and everything they wanted or needed for christmas) for the families to look at, and see what family they were going to be helping out.
