This is a graphic design I made outside of the class. The wide array of effects and abstract forms I used  for this peice took a very long time to create compared to my other work.

Empty

The lack of color and forms in this peice are ment to portray a sense of emptiness.

Honorable Mention

This is a design I made for a band I used to be in called Honorable Mention.

ONE EARTH

The objective of this assignment was to create a politcal poster which supported a cause. I chose preservation of the environment as the target of my poster. As the last assignment of the year I feel that this design shows how far I have come with my work.

Final Design

The final for this class was to create a graphic design. This design was made by tweaking the properties of distortion tools such as changing the diameter and angle of the twist tool.

Out of the Ordinary

The careful use of a wide assortment of colors and gradiants in this peice are meant to emphisize specific detials in the overal design.

Bird

This is a simple design that I created outside of class. My inspiration for this peice was a bird I saw sitting outside of my window near my work desk at home.

Graphic Design

The objective of this assignment was to create a basic graphic design using simple shapes and text.

Dearborn Hills Logo

This is a logo I made for the Dearborn Hills Civic Association Logo Contest. This design had to be basic and using limited colors to make it easy for Dearborn Hills to reproduce cheaply.

Monkey Man

This was by far my least favorite assignment of the year. The objective was to transform an image of myself and merge it with that of an animal, then to place that image in a strange and abstract location. The final product is weak and confusing.

Spiral

This peice was made prior to the class by using a series of different effects and combinations of color to change ordianry shapes into an interesting peice of art.

Rainbow

This peice was one of my favorites to work on. It was created by experimenting with gradients, effects, and distortions.

Photoshop Tutorials

This tutorial was one of the first assignments which we were assigned this year. I took an image of a tree and manipulated two different ways for this design. Once for the image on the left and again for the circle behind the fleur de le.

 By far the easiest assignment of the year, the objective of this assignment was to make a cliping mask of an image and then to add text to the design.
