This mural

was painted inside the Padzieski Gallery in Dearborn

during the months of September and October of 2005,

as part of the

"Journeys and Distances"

art exhibit.

During the exhibit, the four muralists, pictured above, hosted elementary, middle and high school student tour groups from various Dearborn schools, and engaged the students in discussions about art, history, community, society and much more, as they related to the narrative of the mural.

The mural is currently on temporary display inside the Dearborn Schools Administration Building (Ten Eycke Building) located at 18700 Audette.

The mural is now looking for generous support to help install it permanently in one of the Dearborn Schools.
