A B O U T M E :
After teaching art at Fordson High School for six years, I came to Michael Berry Career Center at the beginning of the 2005-06 school year to teach Design Concepts. This course had not existed previously. I worked with many people in and out of the district to plan this new and exiting course. |
I am a proud graduate of McDonald Elementary, Lowrey Middle and Fordson High Schools. |
I studied architecture and art history for a short time at Lawrence Technological University, and later fine arts and art education at Wayne State University, where I attained a BS in Art Education. I had the privilege of studying under many great artists and thinkers, including Dr. James Brown, Dr. Gordon Bugbee, Laila Khadaj, James Nawara, Irina Nakova, Tom Parish, Dr. Arthur Park, Mary Park, Kathy Rashid, Peter Williams, and many others too numerous to name. |
I am primarily a painter, but have experience in many art forms, including digital and graphic design, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and more. |
I love to work on collaborative projects with other artists of all ages!! |
I am married and am a father of two. LOOK!! > |
