About Me

I have been interested in art since I was a little kid.  I’ve studied drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, video, jewelry, digital art and various other forms of art.  I feel that I am knowledgeable in a wide variety of art forms rather than being an expert in just one.  I haven’t found a style that I can stick to because I am always changing and always coming up with new ideas and always taking interest in different styles that I haven’t learned yet.  I hope to pursue a career in art some day when I find out what form suits me best and when I decide that I am ready to go to college.

My experience in the Design Concepts Program

In this class I learned a lot about different aspects of design for products and advertisements.  I was able to learn more about Photoshop and I received some tips for layouts and typography.  I also learned how to render drawings by hand and try different techniques for drawing products.  We learned how to use Rhino, a 3D program, but I am not very fond of 3D design, especially on the computer, so it was a bit difficult for me.  I think advertisement design was the most interesting aspect of this class and I hope to pursue it further.
