`S@ra|~| Beyd0u|\|

Hey, my name is Sarah Beydoun and I attend Dearborn High School. I am 17 years old and love to play sports, draw, and most of all eat. I would love to travel the world and learn about all the different cultures. Music inspires me in many ways, especially while drawing. I love to laugh and make people laugh as well. :) My goal in the future is to do something where I am able to use my creative ideas and help people with them.

Advertisements

Ideations

The 3 above drawings are ideations for the Puma ad. We first had to draw five general ones, then develop one in three ways.

Puma Ad

We were instructed to design an advertisement based on a given part of the Puma website. I was given the Mongolian Shoe Bar-B-Q and I chose to to make up my own slogan.

Magazine Ad

We were instructed to choose a product and design it for a magazine and a particular demographic.  I chose Dooney & Bourke purses and my main idea was to show that these purses are versatile, whether its casual everyday wear or going to an elegant party, there is a Dooney & Bourke purse for everyone.

Bus Tour Ad

This was part of our final exam. Our instructor gave us images and we had to use and combine these images, using few words or create a slogan.  I placed the red bus into the street of a city and on the television monitor I placed an ad for a bus tour company.

Text

Literal Words

With this project, we took two opposite words and made them literally communicate their meanings. The sketches below the final project are my ideations. I chose my best one and designed it using Adobe Illustrator.

Shape & Text

Our instructor told us to shop for an image online and completely alter this image and use it in a design.  The mint case in the corner is what I altered from what used to be an Altoid case.

Michael Berry Logo

This was part of our final exam.  We were instructed to create our own color scheme as well as design, but had to use the original Michael Berry logo twice. The original logo is the yellow and black one in the middle.

Miscellaneous Projects

Face & Place

This project required us to take a person and an animal and morph them. I chose to use a tiger and a baby. It also required us to place this morphed animal in a settin that relates to one or both. I placed the tiger baby in a crib, in the forest. This was selected to be in the citywide art exhibit.

Tiger

My love for Reeses drove me to design this project. While looking for pictures of tigers, I found one eating a tree. So I took this idea and made the tiger eat the Reeses vending machine.

Sketches

These are just a few sketches from my sketchbook and in class sketches.

Mouse Design

The Armadillo provides great comfort for the user. It has a cushioned grip where the palm fits comfortably.  The front portion has some unique buttons. There of course is the right and left click buttons as well as the scroll.  But there are extra features on this mouse not found anywhere else.  There are forward and back buttons for easy web browsing as well as  a volume button. This has grips that provide extra comfort for the user. Another unique feature is the thumb rest on the side of the mouse.  This provides for total comfort of the wrist and palms. Below is a Power Point presentation that I did for class. Click the link...

Package Design

After designing our mouse, we had the choice of either design a package for the mouse, or a new product. I chose to complete the mouse and provide a package for it. Below is a power point of it.
