Pre Education Placement Course Information

Year 2- Semesters 1 & 2

Students may opt for a one hour course or two hour block course

This course expands on the knowledge and skills necessary to help students explore and gain experience in the field of K-12 education.  Students will apply foundational knowledge learned in the 1st year course during placements in one or more K-12 classrooms.  They will gain more experience in their ability to plan and deliver lessons and assist with classroom management and activities.  Students will spend 3-4 days per week in placement and 1-2 days per week in the pre-education classroom.

Students who drive to school may complete placement anywhere in the Dearborn Public Schools District. Students who ride the bus will complete placement at the Dearborn Heights Campus.
