With an extensive history working alongside Michelin-star talents, Chef P has honed her craft and loves every minute of sharing her skills with her students!

Instructional Technician

Ali Mourad is currently serving as an Instructional Technician (Sous Chef) at the Michael Berry Career Center, a role started in October 2023. Ali has a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and an Associate’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Henry Ford College. With hands-on experience in various local restaurants, he have built a solid foundation in the culinary industry.

Cooking has been his passion since he was 12 years old, with his mother and grandmother his earliest inspirations. They taught the art of the kitchen, and their influence has shaped Ali’s approach to cooking. His mother and siblings have always been his greatest supporters, encouraging every step of the way to pursue dreams in the culinary world. Outside of cooking, Ali enjoys swimming, horseback riding, and traveling—constantly seeking new experiences and sources of inspiration to enrich both personal and professional life.
